Introduction
Hey, I'm the organizer of the group. I'm 29 years old (30 in December - Oh my God!). I was born in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire and grew up on a dairy farm near Mauchline (the home of Robert Burns!).
What the hell are you doing here in Texas??!!!

I ask myself that question every day!

Where are you from in Scotland?

Near Mauchline, Ayrshire but I consider Glasgow home.

  •  Hey Jenn - it's been busy. Sorry we have a conflict (Indian dinner no less) so can't make the 30th. I was thinking about hosting an event for the group but the downside is that I would have to invite you ;) Happy Thanksgiving !

  •  Brilliant run Jenn!

    Family will be at Fado Saturday morning for the Scot-Italy match. Gers and Tims arm in arm cheering on our lads.

  •  hi Jenn,

    thanks for the suggestion, still not 100% but looks like we can't make it :-(
    thanks for the effort though, i appreciate it

    hope i'll be back again soon and can try to meet you/the scots then

    just curious but was it easy for you to move here and get work/study? i'm a bit worried about trying for a work visa (and we're not thinking of marriage yet!)

    good luck with your schedule and hope the Scots meet goes well next week (love the pub you suggested)

  •  thanks for the welcome Jenn

    unfortunatly time is horribly short for me right now, gone for the weekend and then off back to Europe on Monday

    are you free for a coffee drink up to Saturday? i'm home alone daytime or can bring Mandy evenings, would be nice to chat a bit about here anyway!

    let me know

    cheers!
